My student-centered teaching ethos is rooted in my lived experiences as a working-class, bilingual student.

Since 2008, I have taught at multiple public and private higher ed institutions in New York, each with its own unique cultural flavor. In these settings, I have taught first-year writing, professional communication, multicultural, and adolescent literature to linguistically diverse, and often, working-class students.

My teaching focuses on critical digital literacy as a path for questioning texts, genres, and cultural commonplaces.
